The GB members and other high hanking officials are nothing more than sales and marketing propagandists
that are being paid for by the organization to do just that. Turning up the the great scare of the great tribulation
and the in coming Armageddon is a self supporting/backroom intuitive that has in the past worked for the Corporation.
Could it be that the WTS has spent millions on their real estate building projects that they are trying to recuperate
some financial expenditures. Never dismiss the fact that money is a big apart of the driving force of this religious Publishing/
Real Estate Corporation.

One thing that had always bothered me was not being able to have a beard.
This is one of the integral doctrines that should put up a red flag that something is not right JW land.
Why is it inappropriate for men to have beards when that is exactly how god created men ?
Its for this very reason there are many religions that put shame on to men for shaving their beards as a type of insult to god.
Well the answer to this is simple, its because every man that comes indoctrinated into the JWS faith is
seen as a marketing advertisement for the organization, in essence a designed and sculptured sales representative.
That is why dress is controlled, hair length is controlled, speech is controlled, thought and thinking and even knowledge
is controlled all in expressive effort to attract attention to themselves and represent the organization.
Beards on men is seen as being unclean in appearance, dirty even, when clean shaved men create a appearance of righteousness,
purity and wholesomeness, put a special smile and a grinning expression on that face and you have a zealous dedicated JW man.
This I'm sure came out of the old days when the WTS. door to door sales representatives were being instructed in how to represent
themselves in appearance out into the public and it just carried on from there.

Good grief - all 'thinking' must come from the Society - you are not allowed to think for yourself. They're probably afraid that eventually someone in the small group might stumble upon scriptures that have been totally misused/misrepresented/misquoted by the Society!
Good catch ! Thats why the WTS says one shouldn't read the bible by itself, but read it with their literature in conjunction to interpret and bring a complete understanding.

by recovering inmy mom just called (she is an active jehovah's witness) she basically has very little to do with me.
however she want's to come and visit me and my wife on christmas day .
she lives in another state and wants spend the night.

She wants to impose her beliefs on to you which is wrong on so many levels, I'd tell her to not come
during the holidays since your celebrating might make her feel out of place and uncomfortable.
Tell her to come over after the holidays that would be better for both you and her.

Studies performed by those who believe that some religious groups do practice mind control have identified a number of key steps in coercive persuasion:
- People are put in physically or emotionally distressing situations; ( God will kill anyone that doesn't meet his approval, the only way to do that is obey us )
- Their problems are reduced to one simple explanation, which is repeatedly emphasized; ( God will soon relinquish all of mans problems at Armageddon )
- They receive unconditional love, acceptance, and attention from a charismatic leader; ( The GB loves their flock always and unconditionally )
- They get a new identity based on the group; ( You are recognized as brother or a sister but in a larger family arrangement )
- They are subject to entrapment (isolation from friends, relatives, and the mainstream culture) and their access to information is severely controlled.
( Anyone who does not belong to this particular faith is wordily, evil and untrust worthy, even family, anyone that opposes or questions the organization should not be
talked to or listened to .... higher education is pointless and could prove damaging
because they are govern and operated by wrenched godless people )
Yeah I'd say the WTS/JWS are a cult in indirect and direct ways, they could certainly be called a high control group for sure.

by flipper inhaving read ray franz's " crisis of conscience " 3 years ago -before i read steve hassan's 2 books on mind control - my wife and i thought it would be good to re-read ray's " crisis " book again now that we know more about the workings of " cult mind control".
we just finished chapter 2 and i noticed striking similarities i thought i would share.. notice this quote in " crisis of conscience " on pg.
28 & 29 by franz , " thus numerous factors that are relatively common knowledge in many religious organizations are known only vaguely , if at all, by the vast majority of jehovah's witnesses.

To be honest and realistic though every religious organization operates on a premise of information control,
the Catholics, Mormons, Baptists, Scientologists they all are structure and maintained on self information.
Where the human folly comes in is when people start to believe that these men really have some sort of direct
connection to some sort a powerful omniscient deity and therefore should rightfully have control over
us mortal humans, then tragedies will prevail and become apparent. Does this ring a bell ?
